The Plus-Energy house is going to be a totally eco-friendly and totally off the grid home and it's going to be built in Berlin in the near future. This look into the future of residential power is going to have enough solar power donated from the sun to everything inside it and the two electric cars parked in front of it going strong. The house will be “optimized for minimal loss” and will make the most of the Sun's rays thanks to some impressive photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. The total electricity output will actually be higher than what a regular house really needs and the entire surplus will be fed back to the grid. Now that's definitely what I like to call efficient, so we can't help but wonder whether the Plus-Energy house will work out as planned once it gets built. Via ArchDaily
