Prototype Villas In Dubrovnik By Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid Architects once again left me speechless with their concept villas overlooking the historic town of Dubrovnik in Croatia. The town may be steeped in antiquity, but the villas don't reflect that. The renditions show them to be extremely futuristic and with a strong sculptural character.

The brief called for two prototype villas for a new Golf and Spa Resort, and the concepts, named “Rock”  and “Shell,” epitomize the resort's architectural style. The project comprises 400 villas, two 5-star hotels, luxury apartments, retail facilities, a spa, an 18-hole golf course, and a golf resort clubhouse.
