At a recent visit to a friends family home, I came across glow in the dark bed sheets, something which I have never seen. Goes without saying I was enthralled and showed a child like fascination towards it. Before you start questioning my tastes, let me assure you that I have no plans of getting them, though I was tempted I must admit. The Treecycled Furniture’s ‘Expose’ series works on the same principle but instead of glow paint, it uses clever LED lights. Treecycled Furniture believes in the principles of reclaim and recycle and hence have worked with rotten teak to make to highlight the company ethics. By filling the wood cavities with LED lights and using non-toxic Rubio Monocoat oil, the Expose series is quirky, whimsical and looks almost surreal.
