Sure we focus on furniture here at FF, but the buildings and architecture we put our furnishings in also peak our interest. This visually expressive and artistic U shaped apartment building from Vinnese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser is unlike any other building in the world. The “Waldspirale” in Darmstadt, Germany features various roof top domes, individualized windows and doors, a roof top that is an outdoor wonderland, a running stream, and restaurant/bar/playground facilities for some amusement. The artist in Hundertwasser really comes out in the 105 apartment structure that has literally no straight lines and a color scheme that evokes more than one look.
