The “Black House” is a beautiful home surrounded by incredible views. Architects Bernardo Gomez-Pimienta and Hugo Sanchez sought to construct the home with the focus being on the views and surrounding landscape. The inner parts of the home are sterile with construction primarily out of concrete. The furniture appears very minimal set in the backdrop of the home. The things I love about this house are the beautiful patio views and patios. The entire house seems to be shaped as a patio to maximize the grand surrounding scenery. This house would make for a grand weekend-getaway place to escape the rigors of the city and recharge one's batteries.
